The Tudors is a large, Grade II listed, Victorian villa in Torquay, Devon. Located in the quiet, residential Meadfoot area of Torquay, it is 200 metres from the harbour and yacht marina. Good sandy beaches are a 10 minute walk, shops, restaurants and pubs are just a 2 minute walk down the hill. Torquay is Devon’s most famous resort, built on hills beside its magnificent bay with palm trees along its seafront. Local amenities include a theatre, cinemas, leisure centre (indoor pool), public gardens, tennis courts, pitch and putt (plus proper golf course) and it’s own League 2 football team.
Set in its own grounds and spread over 3 floors, the Tudors accommodates 14 guests. Plenty of space for everybody to get together in the lounges, dining room and the garden terrace or to enjoy quiet time in the spacious bedrooms, some of which have TV’s and DVD players. The kitchen is very well equipped with a large cooker, two dishwashers and many gadgets and is well set up to cook for large groups. There is off road parking and a games room. The rear terraced garden has small, shallow (10cm) ponds and waterfalls and the enclosed side garden has a swing, small climbing frame and sandpit. The house is ideal for children and, with its two staircases, is fantastic for ‘hide and seek’
